July, 2015

Spritz has been working with Scoma's for the past 2 years and was proud to partner
on their 50th Anniversary Celebration!

Spritz secured attendance from city and state officials, local celebrities, international dignitaries and key media while developing partnerships with Celebrity Cruises,
Madame Tussauds, and Pier 2620 Hotel. The Spritz team also coordinated an
appearance by the Rat Pack, who performed timeless songs that reflected the era
when Scoma's first opened their doors! Plus VIP guests took pictures with a past
Scoma's patron, Tony Bennett, whose wax figure was brought from world famous
Madame Tussauds, San Francisco.

Guests sampled Scoma's classics, such as Crab Cakes, Crab Louie Salad, and
Pisco Punch, while mingling with the Scoma's family and team, including Cheryl
Scoma herself and new Culinary Director Gordon Drysdale and Executive Chef
Efren Sandoval.

The event, emceed by award-winning host of KCBS' Foodie Chap, Liam Mayclem,
culminated in a special presentation where State Assemblymember David Chiu,
along with city officials Phil Ting, Jim Molinari, and Anna Damiani, honored Scoma's
with certificates including a proclamation that officially established June 18th, 2015
as Scoma's Day.

Scoma's Restaurant is on a quest to locate the next "Celebrity Chef"! Loyal fans and customers of the iconic Fisherman's Wharf restaurant can join the Scoma's legacy by submitting their favorite Sicilian-inspired recipe through Scoma's Facebook platform.

The top 3 finalists will be invited to Scoma's Restaurant to serve their winning dish to a panel of San Francisco celebrity judges on November 6, 2015. The winner will receive a Celebrity Cruises Europe Cruise for Two, and the winning dish will be featured on Scoma's official menu!

Submissions and votes are accepted through September 14, 2015.

Spritz was excited to support Madame Tussauds' sponsorship of San Francisco Pride and manage PR for the launch of the first ever transgender wax figure of Laverne
Cox, Emmy-nominated actress and star of Netflix hit series Orange is the New Black!
The standing-room-only Pride press conference, hosted by Madame Tussauds, had
an electric atmosphere buoyed by the momentum of the SCOTUS decision on gay
marriage earlier that morning. The conference ended with a bang when Laverne Cox made a surprise appearance with a side by side reveal of her wax figure.

The launch attracted national and international media coverage from KTVU to the
John Oliver Show. Check out the official press release here!

To bring a memorable end to Pride month, three of our clients -
Celebrity Cruises, Madame Tussauds and Twenty Five Lusk
- were featured on the longest-running LGBT weekly interview
series Ten Percent, hosted by long-time San Francisco media
professional David Perry, to share their LGBT initiatives.

Check out the interviews for Celebrity Cruises and Madame Tussauds, and make sure to catch the Twenty Five Lusk interview July 20th on Comcast Hometown Network Channel 104 in Northern California!
